The federal government is set to announce its final spending budget ahead of the election and it could reveal a multi-year program to give Canadians access to higher-speed web by 2030.
The CBC reported that Finance Minister Bill Morneau will outline these facts in the spending budget that will be announced on March 19th in Ottawa. According to an anonymous supply, CBC writes that the government will be announcing new money but will also get the enable of the private sector to roll out these investments.
Broadband investments will be aimed at filling in the gap of the urban-rural divide, yet another supply told CBC.
