I checked out a quantity of Versus Evil games at this week’s Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. I’ve watched the publisher due to the fact it began operating with Stoic, the studio behind a single of my favourite technique game franchises of the previous decade: The Banner Saga. Versus Evil has also worked on Pillars of Eternity II, my favourite function-playing game of 2018. And I couldn’t quit giggling at the charm of Cardpocalypse, a mix of collectible card battler and RPG from Gambrinous (the makers of Guild of Dungeoneering).
