The Delhi Higher Court on Monday dismissed a plea looking for to restrain the media from publishing allegations of sexual harassment against Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi by a former Supreme Court employee.


A bench headed by Chief Justice Rajendra Menon mentioned the best court is currently seized of the matter and no interference was necessary.



The plea, filed by NGO Anti Corruption Council of India, had mentioned publication of allegations against the CJI straight hit the Indian judicial program.


The petition had sought instant restriction on the media from additional telecasting or publishing the allegations till conclusion of the 3-judge panel’s inquiry.


The allegations levelled by the former lady employee of the Supreme Court are getting enquired into by a 3-judge panel of the apex court which held its 1st proceeding on Friday final.
