(Reuters) – A Harvard law professor who joined the legal group defending Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein against sexual assault charges will not be permitted to continue as dean of a residential residence on campus, a university official stated on Saturday.
The Ivy League university’s move to finish the part of law professor Ronald Sullivan Jr and law college lecturer Stephanie Robinson, Sullivan’s wife, at Winthrop Home follows protests more than his representation of Weinstein.

In January, a judge authorized Weinstein’s request to have Sullivan join his legal group.
